1. Where is Evexia Plus located?

Evexia Plus is on the Halkidiki coast in northern Greece, at 35th km Thessaloniki-Nea Moudania, 63080 Chalkidiki. The hospital is twenty minutes from Thessaloniki International Airport and around thirty minutes from Thessaloniki city.

2. How do we get there from Ireland?

Direct flights from Dublin to Thessaloniki take just under four hours. From Cork or Shannon, connections run through European hubs. A free airport transfer for patient and family, in both directions, is included.

3. Where does family stay during treatment?

One family member stays free of charge in the patient's room or in nearby accommodation arranged by the hospital. Additional family stays in seaside hotels in Kallikratia, five minutes away, at their own cost. A free shuttle bus runs between the hospital and Thessaloniki.

4. What do patient rooms include?

Patient rooms have adaptive equipment, adjustable beds, and Mediterranean light. Each room has free Wi-Fi, en-suite facilities, and space for a family member if they are staying with the patient. Rooms are organised by specialism across seven wards.

5. What is the food and dining like?

All meals are prepared on site and reviewed by a dietitian. Two daily options are offered, and dietary or cultural requirements (vegetarian, vegan, halal, texture-modified) are accommodated. Family lounges and dining spaces are on site.

6. What outdoor spaces are there?

The hospital has gardens, a rooftop terrace, outdoor lounges, and outdoor hydrotherapy pools used in warmer months. The site is within a few minutes of the Halkidiki coast, with the Mediterranean accessible to family during the patient's stay.
